Nami Island International Children's Book Festival 2019 Fall into A Fairytale Land Deep Within Nature   2019.06.10   From May 4 to 26, the Nami Island International Children's Book Festival 2019 was held on Nami Island in Chuncheon, Gangwon Province. The Nami Island International Children's Book Festival was first launched in 2005 to mark the 200th anniversary of fairy tale author Hans Christian Andersen. Illustrator Kim Hwan-Young   2019.07.08   Illustrator Kim Hwan-Young has captured readers' hearts with his beautiful work in children's tales like Paper Rice (naznsan), The Hen Who Dreamed She Could Fly (Sakyejul) and The Children Who Swallowed the Sun (Changbi), as well as picture books including The Butterfly Catching Father (Gilbut Children), Corn (Sakyejul) and Bbaeddaegi (Changbi). South Korea's May Bestsellers   2019.06.10   A look at the bestseller lists at South Korea's biggest bookstore chains for the third week of May this year shows two Korean authors keeping a strong grip at the top. According to Kyobo Book Centre, YES24 and Aladin, Kim Young-ha's Why Travel (Munhakdongne) and Hong Chun-wook's The History of Money Through 50 Incidents (Rok Media) took the top spots, showing their popularity is still going strong.
