Children of the Fourth Person The voices of those who shared their wounds and survived
2025.12.01
A foundation promised safety and comfort to children in need of care - the “Happy Children’s Welfare Foundation” And, among them are two children from P-eup, “Gwangji” and “Aurora,” who arrive in search of help. However, their new life is soon filled with exploitation and control. And, under the name of protection, they are forced into silence - alongside violence.
“I still have those nightmares. It’s like the dreams find me, rather than me dreaming.” - from the book
If my dream is connected to the memories of other children, and those memories are stained with pain like mine - what should we do? To record a collective pain that cannot be expressed through “I,” “you,” or “he/she,” the author adopts a new point of view - the “fourth person” - to bear witness to each other’s voices. A story that exposes the shadows of human-made goodwill and structures. A story where the cries of silenced children echo through every letter.
